I for one know about the high wall trick, but none others. I'm not sure about others.

Pictures and a few steps on how to do these would be awesome! :)

These are incredible!

They are all phenomenal, and all have the ability to really amaze people - but if I had to narrow it down (which is a hard choice) the ones I think would catch the most attention are:

 • #2 type of bridge
 • Temple
 • stairs
 • lone campfire
 • apple farms without houses
 • Vegetable gardens

These really are cool tricks. If you're happy for me too, any articles you write here I'll even add as official articles on the main site (under your name - you will get full credit) such as this one: http://www.strongholdnation.co.uk/article/205-how-to-make-proper-siege-maps

If you can do this for us, I'd gladly make you a contributor ;)

Yes, this looks great.

I love especially the bridges made out of wooden towers. Seems we finally have a bridge that can be destroyed for tactical reasons (e.g. to cover your retreat). Something I have been hoping to get in the series for some time.? :)

Excellent stuff! Keep up the good work! :D

I know a few tricks for SH1 and SHC but I'm interested in learning more about tricks for SH2 that might also work in SHL. This should be a great way for me to learn more.

A really cool thing in stronghold 2 is to Do the as with the farms, just with fisgponds and then place water over the( unseen) fisgponds and give the fish Farmers a way int the water, soon be illustrated too!

Tutorial abbout how to do an lowered tower with way on:

Step 1:

Place a plateu which should be one height higher than the area on that the tower should stand later.

note:this works with all towers except the stone stairs

here ive been used the first height but you can use every except the lowest or the highest.

773x580http://i1060.photobucket.com/albums/t452/tobikanne01/Stronghold2%202015-10-14%2015-51-08-08_zps30mod8cv.png[/img]

Step 2:

place wooden tower on(ladder of it in that direction your soldiers should go later.

and narrrow the terrain down to low level until this point nothing special.

773x580http://i1060.photobucket.com/albums/t452/tobikanne01/Stronghold2%202015-10-14%2015-51-41-32_zpsmeo64pfr.png[/img]

Step 3:

use the chosen tool in the choosen brush-size and narrow down the land under the wooden tower.

773x580http://i1060.photobucket.com/albums/t452/tobikanne01/Stronghold2%202015-10-14%2015-51-51-15_zpsmpqrartp.png[/img]

Step 4:

we have a flying wooden tower :)

773x580http://i1060.photobucket.com/albums/t452/tobikanne01/Stronghold2%202015-10-14%2015-52-02-25_zpsswn9uqrv.png[/img]

Step 5:

Place water arround the wooden platform.

773x580http://i1060.photobucket.com/albums/t452/tobikanne01/Stronghold2%202015-10-14%2015-52-22-40_zps0m2ytbof.png[/img]

Step 6:

delete water and do anything editing the terrain.

773x580http://i1060.photobucket.com/albums/t452/tobikanne01/Stronghold2%202015-10-14%2015-52-46-98_zps7b3ormzj.png[/img]

Step 7:

place tower (any except stairs)

773x580http://i1060.photobucket.com/albums/t452/tobikanne01/Stronghold2%202015-10-14%2015-53-09-90_zps3sevwqad.png[/img]

Step 8:

go up in the birds view(optional but easy)and place terrain arround (needed is the next height after the one the wooden towwer had been placed on) and bathe the area in that terrain.

773x580http://i1060.photobucket.com/albums/t452/tobikanne01/Stronghold2%202015-10-14%2015-53-24-25_zpss3udyrmo.png[/img]

Step 9:

narrow up the terrain at border between cliff and tower( wooden tower included), if a bug happens maybe ou get thrown to the mapedeitor menu or your screen of the map gets black just save the map, keave the mapeditor ,re open mapeditor ,load the map and keep up working.

this happens if you click inside of a building which is bigger than one square.

773x580http://i1060.photobucket.com/albums/t452/tobikanne01/Stronghold2%202015-10-14%2015-53-55-58_zpsm2iha4no.png[/img]

Step 10:

place water again( this is for making everything working)

773x580http://i1060.photobucket.com/albums/t452/tobikanne01/Stronghold2%202015-10-14%2015-54-03-35_zpssbv2tj00.png[/img]

Step 11:

delete water and edit terrain again.

773x580http://i1060.photobucket.com/albums/t452/tobikanne01/Stronghold2%202015-10-14%2015-54-22-88_zpsw2esmong.png[/img]

Step 12(optional) :

Testing if it works.

773x580http://i1060.photobucket.com/albums/t452/tobikanne01/Stronghold2%202015-10-14%2015-54-48-58_zpsq4fpu2hc.png[/img]

Tutorial farms without farmhouses

Step 1:

Choose a small map and look for the area were the large map would begin.

enlarge the map.

773x580http://i1060.photobucket.com/albums/t452/tobikanne01/Stronghold2%202015-10-18%2014-43-53-48_zpsd5ktc7ln.png[/img]

Step 2:

Place a platou there were you want your farms( will only work at the large area of the map close to the small map during the map is small).:P

773x580http://i1060.photobucket.com/albums/t452/tobikanne01/Stronghold2%202015-10-18%2014-44-06-76_zps73bw5gva.png[/img]

Step 3:

place our farms on the in last step dropped area (i works fine to on low height but just on exactly these two and not between or above)

whatever farm you want :)

773x580http://i1060.photobucket.com/albums/t452/tobikanne01/Stronghold2%202015-10-18%2014-44-36-13_zpsjl6fa66c.png[/img]

its really cool to us the fish ponds and than place water over them its like the farmers are fishing :)

Step 4:

relarge the map and make the area to the height you want (on others heigts than up there /\ the plants will not appear :(

773x580http://i1060.photobucket.com/albums/t452/tobikanne01/Stronghold2%202015-10-18%2014-45-05-25_zps3xaxnnty.png[/img]

Wow, with those you made my jaw fall on the floor, Tokamaps. :| Those are incredible! By the way, it appears that you don't have any maps submitted here, at least not under this username. Can we find some of those at Stronghold Heaven? :)

It's great to see such beautiful stuff in Stronghold 2, although it is a 3D game you managed to make things great looking just like one would be able to in Stronghold 1 and Stronghold Crusader, only with difference these scenes look in Stronghold 2 even better.
