  1. I apologize, I didn't notice your post. Just tell if you're still around, and still need help. [emoji846] Sent from my Mi A2 Lite using Tapatalk
  2. Nice review, Nigel! My entire impression with Crusader 2 as well was that it was too easy. Although I'm not a good Crusader 2 player, it is not easy for me to win the games, but my feeling is that one can learn to wipe the floor with the AI pretty fast. Mostly because the game seems much simpler than Stronghold 1 and Crusader 1. And what I disliked too was the fact that a weak PC affects how good you can play too much. For example, with lowest possible graphics settings you don't see fire in Crusader 2, you can only see the ashes as if the fire had been gone for a while. So you don't notice your army burning... Hopefully, they addressed this issue, but I don't lay my hopes into that. Now I have better desktop PC than when we used to our play Crusader 2 games. So, hopefully, it should be fine once I get the game.[emoji4] Sent from my Mi A2 Lite using Tapatalk
  3. Nicely said, Crusader. [emoji41] Nigel, it's so good to hear from you! You're right. I myself am one of those who want to wait a little bit. Although, the biggest reason for myself is a lot of work that I have at the moment. So, I should meet you on the battlefield just after the summer sale. [emoji1] If you find some time, it would be great to hear some of your impressions about the game. [emoji4] Sent from my Mi A2 Lite using Tapatalk
  4. Glad I helped. [emoji4] Sent from my Mi A2 Lite using Tapatalk
  5. Also, does that depend on the stone keep, too? So, if you put the largest stone keep in a castle estate in the map editor, would the player have the pop limit 120, or something like that?
  6. Welcome to Stronghold Nation! As far as I know, it is not possible. But Lord Chris knows much more about modding Stronghold 2. I think it would be the best to wait for his answer, maybe I'm wrong, or maybe he could come up with something else helpful. Only he might be absent right now, but I expect he could reply in several days. [emoji846] Sent from my Mi A2 Lite using Tapatalk
  7. Painting models seems fun to me. The only time I got hands on a model as a kid was when my father bought one. Only then he realized it needs to be assembled.[emoji23] It seemed cool to me too assemble it, but I was too young and father was too lazy, so he gave it to another dude who liked doing it.[emoji1] And then, after some time, we got the airplane all assembled and painted.[emoji1] It just needs to have patience to finish it, I guess, and now when Paul mentioned it, maybe I could see around where I could buy a model, and try to do it myself. And it's definitely not that simple either, do it would be a challenge! Sent from my Mi A2 Lite using Tapatalk
  8. Welcome, Kibou! Yes, that's where maps and save game files are usually saved - in the user folder. Glad you solved it. [emoji4] Sent from my Mi A2 Lite using Tapatalk
  9. Glad to hear. Similar here, pretty busy with all the work, but I also think about buying Warlords. At least I could watch my family members play it.[emoji1] It does seem fun from the videos. Sent from my Mi A2 Lite using Tapatalk
  10. Yup, but trebuchets are way more honorable to me than burning carts.[emoji16] Sent from my Mi A2 Lite using Tapatalk
  11. Indeed there are...[emoji1] Although, even those ninjas are not as much of an issue to me as burning carts. I mean, I consider it my mistake if I don't put some guards around my lord, or when Mathew kills my lord when going to church.[emoji1] But burning carts... Damn, they bring such i chaos...[emoji1] Sent from my Mi A2 Lite using Tapatalk
  12. I only hope those dynamite oxen won't ruin it for me. [emoji1] From videos, they seem overpowered to me, but time will tell. At least I have a feeling that we might find ourselves in need to make a deal not to spam with the oxen. Sent from my Mi A2 Lite using Tapatalk
  13. I didn't know about Instant Gaming before. Good to know, though I guess Firefly does earn money from that perchance either way? Only they will get few euros less, I guess. Yup, the game seems good to me too. And yes, I feel the same as you do about Stronghold 3 and Crusader 2. The optimization on one hand, and on the other hand, Crusader 2 just doesn't seem that much fun to me like Stronghold 2, Stronghold 1, or Crusader 1... Maybe it would be much better to me if they did a better job with fire: in lower graphics you just don't see them fire, you can see only ashes... While Stronghold 3, although it is buggy and doesn't have skirmish mod, it has some pleasant atmosphere. I hope I'm going to see both, those gameplay features and the atmosphere in Warlords. 14. That's cool! Also, good point about the campaign.
  15. Have you managed to solve the issue and obtain the game? 🙂
  16. So, Stronghold Warlords has been released, guys! 😄 I see it's 35 euro on Steam, and right now it's 10% off. Still, I am going to wait and see the reviews. 🙂
  17. That is strange... So the greatest lord screen appears after you press the C keyboard button? (As I don't see any connection between selecting troops and popping up the greatest lord window.) Maybe it's because of your mouse or keyboard? Maybe one of them is faulty. For example, if the mouse "jumps randomly" I'm different directions, that could cause you problems like this. This is why I have replaced several mice already. Now, a sidenote about grammar... God, should I tell "I broke several mice while playing Stronghold", or "mouses"? The first one sounds strange to me when speaking about the device, while "mouses" seems to be incorrect because there is "mice"...[emoji3] Sent from my Mi A2 Lite using Tapatalk
  18. Very interesting story. Although, the part about Julia being found like that seems like it could be very much true. In that case, one could only imagine the horror her family must have felt. Not to mention her own horror. Sent from my Mi A2 Lite using Tapatalk
  19. Again, many interesting stories. Enjoyed every single one of them - no matter whether one is superstitious or not. [emoji4] I mean, interesting local legends at least. Sent from my Mi A2 Lite using Tapatalk
  20. Very interesting story about the mirror of Bella Lugosi. I didn't know the story about the mirror. Sent from my Mi A2 Lite using Tapatalk
  21. I'm a bit later even than that, sorry guys...[emoji1] Happy New Year to everyone! [emoji3][emoji322] Sent from my Mi A2 Lite using Tapatalk
  22. Sorry for coming here late. But thank you, and I guess I will have to congratulate you New Year twice this year to try to make it up.[emoji1] Sent from my Mi A2 Lite using Tapatalk
  23. This looks nice. Also, I like the way you built your walls - in some natural way. Not simply to enclose your castle.[emoji846] And interesting observations.[emoji846] Sent from my Mi A2 Lite using Tapatalk
  24. Interesting observation about campaigns, @Isiah. When I was a kid, I was learning it the hard way - straight to skirmish. Boy, even Snake way hard back then. [emoji16] A lot of stuff I didn't know how to do - how to trade, how to train Crusader troops, nor how to build siege equipment. So, that is why, when I played a mission in Crusader states if in not mistaken against Sultan Abdul and Pig, I saw Pig impossible to kill. He was so effective I'm killing my assassins and Arabian swordsmen. [emoji16] Sent from my Mi A2 Lite using Tapatalk
  25. Nicely done, it does look awesome indeed! [emoji4] Sent from my Mi A2 Lite using Tapatalk
