Reputation is a way of acknowledging helpful users, it can be given to or taken from users based on how helpful their responses are on the forum. You can alter the reputation of other users by pressing an icon next to the "Was this post helpful?" section in a topic. Up rep should be given whenever a reply is useful or helped you out. Down rep should only be given when a reply is blatantly incorrect or pointless. It should not be used as retribution, or to indicate disagreement.
You can view our staff team in its entirety here. If you are a registered user, you can click on "The moderating team" link on the forum, which will tell you which specific forums moderators lead.
Normally, it takes between 24-48 hours to review a submitted file. Depending on the type of upload and the size, it may take slightly longer. Once this process has been completed, your file will be published. If your file has not been approved by this point, or you have additional queries, feel free to private message a moderator, or contact us.
BBCode (or Bulletin Board Code) is the standard forum markup language used to format posts. It allows users to post links, emoticons and images without the danger of allowing HTML that could exploit the website. You can find the list of current supported BBCode here.
Unfortunately, due to the security issues of allowing HTML, you may only use BBCode.
This is due to the usergroup of each user on the site. You can view the forum index next to "Legend" to see these user group colours.
This is done through BBCode. The currently supported emoticons can be viewed here.
If you are a guest, then please contact us. Otherwise, you also have the option of sending a personal message to a management team member or posting in our Site Questions/Support forum.
We most certainly can! Although our staff routinely check all articles to make sure they are up-to-date, occasionally one may miss our attention or we might forget to update something. Please contact us and let us know what it is you think needs changing!
As a general rule, user accounts are seldom renamed. Accounts at StrongholdNation do not, and will not get deleted, and posts will not get removed. Edit times are also restricted to prevent users from taking advantage of editing their own posts. For more information on this, please view this topic.
There are many reasons your account may have been suspended. For a full reason, however, you can login to your account or check your email. You may also contact us for a further explanation. Please do not create a new account to do any of this.
If your account was suspended temporary, it will be unsuspended automatically once the suspension has expired. We will not usually re-examine this duration. If you believe this circumstance should be reconsidered, please contact us and management will reconsider this decision on a case-by-case basis.
Permanently suspended users are not usually given access to their account again, without extenuating circumstances. Regardless, you must provide a clear reason why your account should be unsuspended.

The Webmaster owns the website and is responsible for all final administrative decisions, website maintenance and upgrades. He is supported in his duties by Head Administrators, who along with the Webmaster make up the site management team. The more junior Administrators take on more obligations than Moderators including with site policy, but do not influence maintenance or upgrades. Global Moderators have Moderator privileges in all forums and globally across the entire website, while Moderators only have Moderator privileges in certain forums and areas of the website that they specialise in. Community Liaisons are similar to Moderators, in that they Moderate specific forums, however do not have the other privileges of Moderators such as banning users.
